Youth leaders of the World Youth Forum (WYF) on Tuesday at COP27 held a discussion session on the journey of the WYF during the launch of the World’s Youth platform for the global event.
The session covered the various activities and proceedings offered by the WYF, including the world youth forum labs and simulation models. It also showed how to apply for the WYF and the advantages of participating in its activities.
Youth who attended the Presidential Leadership Programme also looked at the role of the World Youth platform during COP27.
The platform will urge world leaders to take more prompt climate action and assess what has been achieved on the ground since COP was first held in Berlin in 1995.
The World Youth platform will witness the participation of a number of regional and international organisations, including the WHO, UNICEF and the International Labour Organisation (ILO).
