CAIRO – The Egyptian National Railways authority announced that the Upper Egypt train movement was back to normal Wednesday after three train carriages of the Aswan-Cairo train went out of track after the passengers descended on Cairo station at 7:45am.
In a statement on Wednesday, the authority asserted that five trains heading for Upper Egypt were delayed for 30 minutes because of the accident and the train movement was back to normal by 8:40am.
The Lower Egypt train movement was not affected.
