Nahdet Misr is to invest in three startups working in education.
Nahdet Misr (EdVentures) CEO Dalia Ibrahim will invest in OBM Education, Super Fny and Crafty Workshop and expand investment in technical education, Vocational Training and handicrafts as the first Corporate venture capital (CVC) in the Middle East in education technology and innovative learning solutions, Ibrahim said.
Nahdet Misr EdVentures, in cooperation with the Academy of Scientific Research, is supporting the three startups to grow their business by joining the EdVentures three-month accelerator programme.
OBM Education, it provides educational services and counselling for students through training programmes and events.
OBM Education also provides an electronic application ‘Taleb’ to meet all students’ needs in career guidance.
Super Fny gives training for technical and vocational education, plus courses in health and safety, personal skills and entrepreneurship. It also offers employment opportunities and various activities.
Crafty Workshop delivers online training courses for craftsmen in business management, product development, photography, pricing, marketing, brand management and financial affairs.
