Egyptian House of Representatives Speaker Hanafi el Gebali asserted the depth of Egyptian-Azeri ties, which have recently witnessed a big leap.
The speaker’s remarks were made in a meeting with Azeri Parliament First Undersecretary Adil Aliyev during his current visit to Egypt.
Gebali praised the distinguished relations between the two countries’ parliaments in light of the formation of the parliamentary friendship association which is representing a bridge between the two countries.
Aliyev, for his part, expressed his appreciation for the Egyptian speaker, highlighting the longstanding and close relations binding the two countries at all levels especially the parliamentary ones. He also praised the recent visit made by the Egyptian speaker to Azerbaijan, which is reflecting the excellent level of ties between the two friendly countries.
