SHARM EL Sheikh – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi was keen on holding an open dialogue with representatives from foreign mass media, with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, a number of ministers and a galaxy of youth attending.
The dialogue convened as part of activities of the fourth edition of the World Youth Forum (WYF), which will wrap up work in Sharm el-Sheikh on Thursday.
The president exchanged dialogue with participants and answered all questions about several vital issues and files.
Sisi asserted the WYF is an international important platform for tapping dialogue and discussion on global issues among youth from different countries and cultures.
The president said he is upbeat about the re-convocation of the forum after being delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic, that posed a serious challenge to the world at large.
Sisi talked about several vital issues including supporting security and stability of the region, water security, Arab and African rights, Egypt’s hosting of UN climate conference or COP27, joint economic interests between Egypt and Greece, in addition to tourism, youth empowerment, education, awareness, media and drama along with ways of renewing religious discourse.
