Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi reviewed the ongoing plans to upgrade and develop the textile industries sector in Egypt, including the various stages of production, starting from cotton cultivation and trade to the development of mills and spinning and weaving factories.
This came during President Sisi’s meeting on Tuesday with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli as well as a host of ministers and top government officials, Presidency Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said.
President Sisi also stressed the importance of the optimal utilisation of state-owned assets in line with recent global developments in the fields of industry, marketing and management.
During the meeting, the president also urged integration with the private sector in a way that would guarantee the highest levels of governance and rational economic management, with the aim of maximising the value of national resources and contributing to efforts to achieve comprehensive development.
