CAIRO – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has directed the Ministry of Justice to continue efforts of improving the litigation system in a way that ensures the swift justice.
During a meeting Monday with Minister of Justice Amr Marwan to follow up on the work progress in the justice city in the New Administrative Capital, the president stressed the importance of enforcing laws to the letter and respecting the rule of law without any discrimination to protect the rights of citizens and society, said presidential spokesman Ahmed Fahmy.
The president reviewed measures of activating the the National Alliance for Civil Development Work (NACDW) to support the phenomena of volunteering in civil work and backing humanitarian and societal values.
The NACDW which held its first conference in 2022 in the presence of President Sisi devotes its efforts to achieving sustainable development goals through concerted societal efforts, especially after the President declared 2022 as the year of civil society.
The alliance is the first of its kind in Egypt. It includes the General Federation of Associations, all regional and specific federations, and the most prominent leading civil society institutions and associations with well-known efforts and successful experiences in helping the limited inside the country.
