Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed to secure 650 tonnes of additional food supplies to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
This falls within the framework of Egypt’s continued efforts to support the Palestinians at all levels.
Sisi made the remarks during a meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and Supply Minister Ali Moselhi.
Sisi underlined the importance of making sure of securing good amounts of commodities as the holy fasting month of Ramadan looms.
During the meeting, Sisi stood on the government’s intensive efforts to secure staple commodities for citizens and having stocks at safe levels.
He also reviewed the progress realized so far in implementing the national project for establishing strategic warehouses and the national project of silos to ensure food security and provide people’s needs of commodities.
