Libyan prime minister said that the Libyan government and people aspire to establish comprehensive partnership with Egypt with the aim of reproducing successful examples of its inspiring development experience that was achieved over the past years under the leadership and vision of President Sisi, especially with regard to restoring security and stability and launching the development and reform process.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said the current stage requires rallying efforts of all honest Libyans to re-arrange priorities, start immediate moves for the restoration of security and stability, the consolidation of the pillars of the state, then carrying out development and service projects that have direct impact on the Libyan people.
The President’s remarks came as he received Libyan Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Dabaiba in the presence of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and Head of the General Intelligence Service Abbas Kamel, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said.
During the meeting, President Sisi stressed Egypt’s full readiness to offer all its expertise in serving Libyan brothers in a way that would contribute to putting Libya on the right track and preparing the state to embark on construction, development and restore stability.
President Sisi also reiterated Egypt’s keenness to continue to support the Libyan people to complete the mechanisms of running their country and consolidating the foundations of peace and stability to preserve their resources and activate their will.
The President congratulated the new Libyan leadership for winning the confidence of the members of the Political Dialogue Forum that represents the Libyan people, saying it is a promising beginning of a new stage in which all Libyan state institutions will work in harmony and unity in a way that raises the national interest above any other considerations.
For his part, the Libyan prime minister expressed his country’s appreciation for Egypt’s continued support of Libya and its latest efforts to solve the Libyan crisis that ended up by bringing different viewpoints closer and ending divisions. He also appreciated Egypt’s support for Libyan institutions in combating terrorism and extremist groups.

The meeting also reviewed the Libyan efforts during the coming period to lead the transitional phase, besides the prospects for cooperation and coordination between the two countries, Ambassador Radi said.
President Sisi and the Libyan Prime Minister also agreed to exchange visits at the level of executive officials to transfer expertise and experience to the Libyan side.
