Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attended on Tuesday part of the interviews held to selected candidates for jobs at the Ministry of Education which are carried out in co-operation with the Egyptian Higher Military Academy.
The interviews were also attended by Minister of Defence Gen Mohamed Zaki, Minister of Education Reda Hegazy, Director of the Egyptian Higher Military Academy Ashraf Salem Zaher as well as a number of senior commanders of the Armed Forces and officials of the Ministry of Education.
The president reviewed the system of recording the results of the electronic exams, the data of the applicants, and the results they achieved while performing the various stages of the exams until they reached the final interview stage.
In this regard, the president affirmed the state’s keenness to follow the highest standards to select the best qualified cadres scientifically, technically and personally, after passing a comprehensive and integrated training period, according to the latest methods and programmes that are in line with the nature of their work and qualify them to perform their duties and assume their responsibilities efficiently.
This comes within the framework of the state’s efforts to upgrade and modernise the administrative apparatus by focusing on the development of the human resources in order to achieve tangible improvement in the level of public service delivery to citizens.
On the other hand, during his visit to the Military Academy, the president met with a number of senior breeders of Egyptian Arabian horses, and a number of students of the equestrian course at the Egyptian Higher Military Academy.
During the visit, President Sisi stressed the importance of developing equestrian sport, which refines good qualities and reflects positively on the personality of young people and their practical life in the future.
