CAIRO- Chairman of the National Press Authority (NPA) Abdel-Sadek El-Shorbagy voiced deep appreciation of the decision taken by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to swiftly raise the technology allowance of journalists listed in the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate.
He also lauded the social protection package announced by the president today to alleviate people’s burdens and improve their living conditions.
He praised the wise political leadership for its decisions which served the interests of the Egyptian people.
He noted that journalists are aware of the attempts of the desperate forces of evil to hamper the march of development in Egypt, adding that journalism is one of the the country’s “soft power” tools to counter rumors.
