Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Tuesday a phone call from his Kenyan counterpart William Ruto, said Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy.
The two leaders agreed on intensifying coordination and consultation between the two countries with the view to promoting joint African action in a way that contributes to achieving the desired sustainable development for the countries and peoples of the African continent and stimulating efforts aimed at achieving continental integration at all levels, the spokesman added.
The two sides also discussed bilateral ties and exchanged views on African issues of mutual concern, particularly the conditions in Sudan and the Nile Basin area, the spokesman said.
