VIENNA – Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese led on Friday a mass at the newly-inaugurated church in the Monastery of Anba Antonios near to the capital, Vienna.
After inaugurating the church, the pope delivered a sermon about several pontiffs and their crucial role in the history of the Coptic Church.
The pope arrived in Austria on Thursday on a two-week visit.
During the visit, the pope will participate in a European youth conference due to be held near Vienna.
