Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said the New Alamein city is a G4 city that have unique advantages in addition to its distinguished location.
He said the New Alamein city will be an icon of the North Coast and the Mediterranean Sea, referring to the unprecedented mega projects being implemented there.
He added that efforts are underway to lure foreign and local investments into tourist projects in order to achieve development goals.
He made the remarks on Saturday during an inspection tour of the New Alamein city to follow up the progress realized so far in ongoing projects in the city.
He was accompanied by Minister of Housing Asem Gazzar along with a number of several senior officials.
He said “We have clear directives from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to swiftly and efficiently finalize these projects,” stressing keenness on applying modern standards to sustainably develop new cities, including the New Alamein city.
The premier underlined the importance of working around the clock to finalize the projects.
