Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Monday asserted his keenness on following up on the implementation of national agriculture projects nationwide.
This during a meeting at the government’s premises in the New Alamein city to follow up on progress made so far to carry out the “Future of Egypt” and “New Delta” projects attended by Electricity and Renewable Energy Minister Mohamed Shaker, Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el Saaed and other officials.
During the meeting, Madbouli said that the government is working in this regard to secure the necessary funds to finalize all phases of the national project for agricultural production to achieve its goals in expanding the agricultural area and achieving food security.
He further underlined efforts exerted to achieve agricultural development in Egypt, expand land reclamation, improving the productivity of agricultural crops, and developing on-farm irrigation systems and agricultural drainage methods, along with focusing on strategic crops.
