Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted the necessity that the African Union and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa prepare a database on the industries existing in all the African states and needs of each state.
In his speech in (Egypt Can with Industry) conference on Tuesday, Madbouli said that the manufacturers in all the African states have no enough information on the manufacturing abilities and the needs of the other countries, adding that the database will help them know more partners.
The government took several measures to prepare the infrastructure of the industrial sector via establishing road network that reaches the new industrial zones in addition to establishing maritime and dry ports network to increase the production, he said.
The Egyptian state invested billions of pounds to create infrastructure contributing to development of industries, he said, adding that Egypt has electric energy and industrial lands available for senior and junior investors and is preparing laws and legislation for investment and industrial zones.
