Egyptian Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el Saaed had talks on Tuesday with a delegation of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work (NACDW), lauding the alliance’s key role in economic empowerment.
During their meeting, the planning minister stressed the necessity of coordination between the government and civil society in all files.
The minister also reviewed her ministry’s projects, topped by the National Family Development Project, which aims at controlling population growth.
They also reviewed the national project of “Decent Life” and means of strengthening co-operation with the alliance and setting up mechanisms with the view to determining the citizens’ real needs.
The minister, during the meeting, stressing the importance of the role played by the civil society in achieving development as per the Sustainable Development Strategy (SDS): Egypt Vision 2030.
In March, the Decent Life Foundation announced the establishment of the Alliance, which consists of 24 associations and civil institutions.
