A partial solar eclipse started in Egypt at 10:58am and is expected to last for four hours and four minutes.
The peak of the eclipse will be at 1:00pm, when the moon covers 86 per cent of the sun.
Today’s partial solar eclipse is the second and last in 2022 and will continue until 3:02pm.
The eclipse could also be seen in most of Europe, North and East Africa, the Middle East, South and West Asia, and the Atlantic Ocean.
