CAIRO – The Earth will witness a partial solar eclipse of the sun on Tuesday, said Head of the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG) Gad el-Qadi Monday, noting that this phenomenon won’t be seen again in Egypt before August 2, 2027.
Tomorrow’s eclipse will be seen in Egypt and will last for four hours and four minutes, from 10:58am till 3:02pm, while its peak will be at 1:00pm when the moon covers 86 per cent of the sun, Qadi said in statements to MENA.
The eclipse will also be seen in most of Europe, North and East Africa, the Middle East, South and West Asia, and the Atlantic Ocean, he added.
