CAIRO- A substantial relief and aid convoy, organized by the National Alliance for Civil Development Work (NACDW), a coalition of NGOs in Egypt, was dispatched on Sunday to Gaza, as part of the 2nd phase of humanitarian aid convoys to the war-ravaged strip.
The new convoy, including over 500 tons of food, 175 tons of water, over 14 tons of clothes and blankets, and over 130 tons of medicines and medical supplies, was accompanied by medical personnel from various specialties to support Palestinian brethren affected by the Israeli occupation’s brutal aggression on the besieged enclave.
A number of entities participate in the convoy, including Life Makers, Masr el Kheir Institution, Abou El Enein Charitable Association, the Egyptian Youth Council, Ahl Masr Foundation, and others.
The 2nd phase was launched yesterday.
