Members of Parliament said Egypt and the Egyptian people are on a date with a historic event in which President Abdel Fattah El Sisi kickstarts his six year term of construction, achievements, development, and “reaping the fruits”.
They expressed confidence in his vision and standing united behind his wise leadership to continue the journey towards better horizons for Egypt and the Egyptians, they told MENA.
Senate member Phoebe Fawzi said in the headquarters of the parliament in the New Administrative Capital: “In a historic scene that the world followed, and all Egyptians with their eyes, minds, and hearts, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi took the constitutional oath before the House of Representatives, marking the start of a new presidential term.”
“It is a period no less important and rich than the past ten years in which the president assumed responsibility, representing a full decade of building and reconstruction, and the establishment of a new republic, that meets the ambitions of millions of Egyptians, and restores Egypt’s status and deserved priority,” she added.
Representative Nasser Othman, Secretary of the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives, considered the event is a new beginning for “Great Egypt” in the era of the new republic, whose foundation is development, prosperity, and a decent life for all Egyptians.
Othman said that the Egyptians are entering a new era and a new republic, which raises the slogan of the Egyptian human right to a decent life, and to build the human being on sound health and educational foundations.
