Egypt’s Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salaheddin Mostafa has underscored the importance of putting into effect the directives of the political leadership on maximizing local production and removing all obstacles that may hinder production and exports.
The minister’s remarks came at a meeting held on Saturday to follow up the implementation progress of a number of projects carried out by Helwan Company for Metallic Appliances (Military Factory 360), one of the industrial edifices in Egypt.
Mostafa also directed to draw up a clear strategy and vision on developing production, industrialization and marketing plans, particularly after Egypt’s entry to the BRICS, to support the national economy, Spokesman for the Military Production Ministry Mohamed Eid Bakr said.
Taha Gomaa, Chairman of Helwan Company, made a presentation on the progress of projects carried out by the company and the firm’s plans for future projects aiming to increase local products and exports.
