A plan to attract families to move to New Valley Governorate was the focus of high-level talks Friday.
Egyptian families would be given incentives to relocate to New Valley and start their own businesses with government assistance.
Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala el-Saeed Friday met New Valley Governor Mohamed el-Zamalout to discuss the plan, which would help young families set up their own projects to generate income and become part of a strong and a sustainable society, thus developing the governorate.
Discussions also focused on investment projects that will be implemented in the New Valley within the fiscal year 2021-2022.
The projects in farming, mining and land reclamation come within Egypt’s 2030 development vision, the minister said.
New Valley in the Western Desert is a rich governorate with a lot of resources, making a promising future and creating investment opportunities, she added.
