The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) ranks 8th out of 31 Egyptin universities, the E-JUST president announced yesterday.
The statement was based on a report by Times Higher Education (THE) on sustainable development Impact Ranking 2021.
E-JUST obtained the 401-600 rank among 1,115 universities worldwide.
Prof. Mona Gamal Eldin, the chairwoman of E-JUST sustainable development committee, prepared the university sustainable development portfolio 2021, which included 10 goals, out of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, that E-JUST achieves.
E-JUST scored best scores in four goals: Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, Goal 13: Climate Action, and Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy in which E-JUST came 85th worldwide and 2nd among Egyptian universities.
