The Egyptian security bodies at the Interior Ministry on Monday continued securing the voting process in the presidential election for the second straight day.
Security directors and leaders inspected all the personnel tasked with securing the headquarters of the presidential election committees to ensure that the voting process is going smoothly at all polling stations nationwide.
The Interior Ministry’s bodies in various governorates responded to a number of humanitarian cases, including citizens with special needs and the elderly, who asked for assistance in moving to their polling stations to cast their ballots.
This came within the framework of the Interior Ministry’s keenness to provide a conducive and safe environment for citizens to cast their votes and to respond firmly to any attempt that would undermine the course of the electoral process or the country’s security and stability.
