The media center of the Egyptian cabinet denied reports that the Housing Ministry has agreed with intermediaries to help citizens get housing units as part of a presidential program designed for limited income people.
In a statement, the center said it contacted the Social Housing Fund that dismissed as groundless such reports, saying it relies on online system in all services offered to citizens.
Any citizen can find information about any housing unit through “www.shmff.gov.eg” or through “http://www.facebook.com/shmffeg” and can apply online, the center said, warning citizens against dealing with any Facebook page that claims it can mediate in the purchase process.
Citizens can also find everything about housing units offered by the ministry via “https://www.youtube.com/shmffeg” or “www.twitter.com/shmffeg”.
The center urged media outlets to verify the authenticity of news before publishing them to avoid disrupting public order.
