Cairo- Former Sudanese transport minister Mirghani Musa extended greetings and appreciation to Egypt as well as sincere thanks for hosting a Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue, that the issue of eastern Sudan surfaced at the beginning of independence in 1958 and went through a civil and armed struggle.
The former minister’s remarks came during a Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue workshop held in Cairo on Tuesday.
During the workshop, he said that attempts were made in previous periods to pull the region from the problems of marginalization and underdevelopment in issues of education, health, resources and the fair distribution of wealth.
