Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Monday took part in the first meeting of the ministerial mechanism of Sudan’s neighbouring countries in Chad’s capital, N’Djamena.
“The Sudanese people have never been a part of this fierce war or its causes, their hope for salvage depends on the initiative of the neighbouring countries,” Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zied quoted Shoukry as saying on his Twitter account.
