CAIRO- The Decent Life Foundation, in co-operation with the Culture Ministry, announced the establishment of its first ever library in a village in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Qena.
The library comes as part of efforts to spread awareness and knowledge in the Upper Egyptian villages, the foundation said in a statement on Friday.
The library in the village of Marashda serves all age groups, including youth, children and elderly people. The library includes courtyards designed to host different cultural activities.
