CAIRO- The Emigration Ministry continues implementing its strategy to link the Egyptian scientists living abroad with their homeland via communicating with them and creating a database for their expertise in different domains to guarantee the sustainability of this relation to achieve the maximum benefit from their expertise, State Minister of Emigration Soha Gendy said.

This came during Gendy’s meeting with Egyptian expert Ahmed Abu Sayyed, living in the US, who is specialized in the field of oil, wells and managing industrial wastes.

The meeting falls within the framework of the strategy of the ministry to benefit from the expertise of the Egyptian experts and scholars living abroad and getting them involved in
Egypt’s development projects.

The meeting tackled Abu Sayyed’s proposal to establish a project for injecting carbon dioxide in the soil and burying the organic wastes from the sanitation stations.

Gendy gave directives to coordinate with the ministries of environment, electricity, energy and petroleum to hold a meeting to discuss the proposals.

She pointed out to the advantage of having a good soil in Egypt that facilitates implementing such projects.
