Egyptian Minister of Emigration Soha Gendy has held talks with a delegation of Egyptian doctors living in the US, Canada and Europe for talks on means of benefiting from their expertise in offering medical and health care services to the Egyptian villages and governorates.
In a statement released by the Emigration Ministry on Monday, the minister said the meeting comes as part of the Emigration and Expatriate Affairs Ministry’s efforts to merge the Egyptians abroad in the development process in their home country.
Genday voiced her aspiration over increasing co-operation between the ministry and the Egyptian association, known as HOME in offering medical care and increase health awareness among Egyptians along with supporting the presidential initiatives of “Life Saving Boats” and “Decent Life”.
She also said this will also include preparing free medical awareness programmes for villages and governorates to improve the medical services provided to citizens, as well as the necessary medicines without charge for those unable to pay.
