CAIRO – Egyptian Emigration Minister Nabila Makram has pressed for unified effort to support a state strategy to deal with repercussions of epidemiological, economic and geopolitical developments for the emerging markets.
Bodies concerned at home and experienced expats are urged to take part in the sixth edition of the “Egypt Can” conference in order to share their suggestions to overcome the current challenges that have hit industrial activities pretty hard, Makram said.
The industry has been affected like no other sector due to a whopping increase in the global prices of inputs and raw materials, Makram said during a meeting with former finance minister Hany Demyan Monday.
The sixth edition of the conference will include a working session on industrial finance, in which Demyan will participate.
Another session will focus on the green economy and the pivotal role played by green industries in this regard.
