Cairo- Egyptian Minister of Emigration Nabila Makram hailed the unlimited support of Egyptians abroad for a national initiative for serving Egyptians in most needy villages.
She made the remarks during a meeting for implementing the initiative in Fayoum governorate under the patronage of the Ministries of Emigration and Planning, the Emigration Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
Several meetings were held for implementing the initiative via several protocols with the governorate, directorates and the bodies concerned to carry out the initiative in needy villages at the economic, educational, health, social and sport levels.
Makram said she will inspect projects due to be launched in Fayoum under the initiative.
She lauded the efforts exerted by Egyptian businessmen in Kuwait for supporting the initiative, noting that backing the development of villages falls under the umbrella of the Decent Life mega national project.
