El Alamein International Airport in the governorate of Matrouh received on Monday the first tourist charter flight from Kazakhstan as part of the governorate’s tourist summer season.
In a statement, Matrouh governor Khaled Shoaib hailed efforts exerted by the ministries of tourism and aviation to support inbound tourism.
The governorate tourist department distributed propaganda books and maps in foreign languages to tourists as well as souvenirs of papyri and flowers as part of the governorate’s tourism promotion campaigns.
