Diaa Rashwan, General Coordinator of the National Dialogue, stressed on Sunday that Egypt’s National Dialogue, that kicked off on Sunday, is open to all topics and has no red lines, stressing that the only hurdle is the constitutionality of the idea.
Addressing the first session of the Political Rights Exercise and Parliamentary Representation Subcommittee of the National Dialogue, Rashwan said the dialogue began today with discussions on the way of holding House of Representatives elections.
If the participants reach an agreement on a certain system, it will be raised to the President to decide on the matter in coordination with the parliament, he added.
