CAIRO- Egypt’s Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki attended Friday the war inspection exercises conducted by one of the military formations of the Second Field Army.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces witnessed the training operations on raising combat effectiveness carried out by the formation of the Second Field Army.
He inspected the combat efficiency, which included the technical and administrative status of the units, after being developed along with confronting threats and challenges besetting the national security.
The Armed Forces vow to protect the Egyptian people and their security and stability, he affirmed.
The ceremony, which was attended by Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Osama Askar and a number of Armed Forces commanders, aims to boost the combat efficiency of military personnel and different units.
The minister conveyed the greetings of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the military personnel for their continued efforts to upgrade military equipment and weapons.
President Sisi has a very clear vision on developing the Egyptian Armed Forces and raising its efficiency, starting with raising the individual fighters’ efficiency, arming the field armies and equipping them with the most up-to-date weapons and providing the navel and the air forces with the latest equipment.
