Egypt’s Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said Wednesday that Egypt is looking forward to providing all support for African countries in the health sector.
Abdel Ghaffar was speaking during a meeting Wednesday with Zimbabwe’s Douglas Mombeshora, who is currently visiting here.
The meeting took up means of boosting co-operation and exchanging expertise between the two countries.
Abdel Ghaffar said Egypt and Zimbabwe have close and strategic relations, said Health Ministry Spokesman Dr Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.
The Egyptian minister said his country is willing to share its know-how in the pharmaceutical industry with Zimbabwe, the spokesman said, noting that this is a step toward the joint manufacturing of drugs and vaccines.
