Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir said Tuesday the government is interested in increasing national exports to various foreign markets by developing industries and attracting more foreign investments.
He provides all support especially in industrial and service sectors and investment incentives that would enhance the empowerment of the private sector.
The government is keen on providing all forms of support necessary to enhance the access of
Egyptian exports to foreign markets, he said.
The Minister of Trade and Industry said during launch of export management certification program in Egypt funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
He pointed out to the keenness of the Ministry of Trade and Industry to provide all necessary forms of support to enhance the access of Egyptian exports to foreign markets.
He explained that the Ministry continues, in this regard, to overcome obstacles to investment and enhance industrial production through a package of measures, including the continuation of executive procedures for the national strategy for industry and improving trade, with the aim of increasing Egyptian petroleum and non-petroleum exports to USD 145 billion annually over the next six years.
