Head of the Egyptian Agricultural Quarantine Ahmed el Attar said on Sunday Egypt is now exporting more than 400 agricultural products to 120 countries.
He added that Egyptian agricultural exports achieved a record from January to July, estimated at 4.65 million tons.
He attributed the progress to the good monitoring system applied in the agricultural quarantine and the well implementation of the terms set by importing countries.
He said new markets were tapped, citing New Zealand, Japan and China thanks to the good reputation and quality of Egyptian products.
