The Egyptian Education Ministry held a series of meetings over the past three days to discuss the road map of the new education system of the academic years from preparatory one until secondary three.
Representatives of several international organizations like the World Bank, UNESCO and UNICEF in addition to a number of publication houses in charge of developing curricula like Discovery Education, National Geographic, Nahdet Misr Publishing Group and York Press participated in the meetings.
Education Minister Tarek Shawky said the aim of the new educational system is to provide education for everyone without discrimination.
