Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) topped this country’s 28 universities listed in the World University Ranking listed in the British Times Higher Education, E-JUST president announced on Thursday.
E-JUST came in the category 601 – 800 among the world’s universities, E-JUST President Prof. Amr Adly added.
“We’re proud of the achievement of E-JUST, which is a research university in the first place, working to support scientific research, industrial bodies in Egypt, Africa and the Middle East,” Prof. Adly said, noting that the university owed its success to its advanced laboratories, high-level centres of excellence, and the quality of scientific research.
The university has four industry support centres and a technological incubator which connects scientific research with support for sustainable development, Prof. Adly said.
