Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defence and Military Production General Mohamed Zaki met with a number of Central Military Zone fighters as part of the periodic meetings aimed at unifying concepts towards various issues related to Egypt’s national security on all levels.
The meeting began with a speech by Major General Abdel-Mouty Abdel-Aziz Allam, Commander of the Central Military Zone, in which he stressed that the men of the Central Military Zone renew their pledge to spare no effort in carrying out their tasks with a firm faith in upholding the interests of the homeland and defending its capabilities, whatever the cost might be.
Minister Zaki gave a speech in which he conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the men of the Armed Forces for their efforts in protecting the country’s national security and securing the state’s borders in all strategic directions.
The Commander-in-Chief conducted a dialogue with a number of the Zone’s commanders, officers and soldiers, listening to their opinions and inquiries about the current situation and the state’s efforts to address the challenges resulting from the successive global and regional crises that cast their shadows on regional security and stability, as well as their internal repercussions on the Egyptian economy.
He praised the informed understanding and correct awareness of the members of the Armed Forces of the situation and urged them to maintain the highest levels of training and combat readiness.
