The Arab League (AL) urged the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs to continue its efforts in containing the catastrophic humanitarian and social impact of Israeli war on the Palestinians in Gaza Strip.
This came in a speech delivered by Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League Haifa Abu Ghazaleh during the opening of the 43rd session of the Council of Arab Ministers for Social Affairs kicked off on Wednesday, under Egypt’s chairmanship.
Ghazelah, meanwhile, suggested that the council to be in permanent session, until the situation in the embattled enclave is stabilised.
