Chief of Staff Osama Askar on Monday oversaw the implementation of the tactical command centers’ project carried out by the Northern Fleet, as part of the combat training plan for Armed Forces formations and units, the Armed Forces spokesman said.
The project phases included presenting reports and decisions to commanders at all levels, the spokesman said, adding that the participating elements reflected a high level of combat readiness and skillfulness in using the latest means of command, cooperation and control systems in carrying out planned and emergency tasks.
Speaking to the event, Gen. Askar praised the superior level shown by the men of the Navy, which indicates high combat readiness and distinctive training that led to professionalism in the implementation of the project, the Armed Forces spokesman said.
