The committee supervising elections of the Bar Association Saturday started receiving candidacy papers for the syndicate’s elections.
The voting will be held to choose a new head and members of the syndicate council.
Submissions of applications by candidates will continue until Wednesday.
Initial lists of the nominees will be announced on February 3.
The candidates can lodge any complaints for three days.
On February 8, final lists of the candidates will be declared.
The elections will be staged on March 9, if a quorum is reached.
A run-off election will convene on March 23.
