CAIRO – The Armed Forces organized Sunday an event for the differently-abled people at the Egyptian Air Force Museum in Cairo, in commemoration of the International Day of People with Disability (IDPWD).
Minister of Social Solidarity Nivine El Kabbag and Minister of Culture Nivene el Killany attended the ceremony, along with a great host of senior military officials and public figures.
The event featured an assortment of performances and artistic shows.
Kabbag thanked the Armed Forces for giving her the opportunity to be with the people of special abilities, highlighting the educational role of national museums that help raise people’s awareness of the great history of their nation.
IDPWD is a United Nations-sanctioned day that is celebrated internationally on December 3.
