CAIRO- An Arab forum on boosting anti-corruption efforts kicked off in Cairo Monday to discuss the outcome of implementing a national strategy to counter corruption.
Organized by the Arab League General Secretariat, the forum aims at boosting dialogue and cooperation among parties concerned with fighting corruption.
All parties will be given a chance to review the consequences of the current developments in the Arab world, where implementing the national anti-corruption strategy is concerned.
Participants will exchange views and methods of government and non-government bodies, as well as independent experts and representatives of regional and international organizations.
Figuring high on the agenda of the forum is the employment of technology in countering corruption, creating an attractive business environment and achieving the sustainable development goals.
The forum will also focus on efforts to enhance the role played by the private sector in fighting corruption in the Arab world.
