A delegation from the Human Brotherhood Foundation in Egypt, led by Yoannis Lahzi Gaid, President of the Human Fraternity Foundation, visited the “Ahl Misr Burn Hospital” in New Cairo. The visit aimed to learn about the hospital’s pioneering experience in treating patients and to explore potential future collaborations to continue fulfilling its ‘A Humanity Without Burns’ strategy.
During the visit, the Human Brotherhood Foundation delegation hailed the highest standards of quality in the medical services provided to patients. The delegation expressed full support for the hospital’s efforts in combating burns, treating survivors, and reintegrating them into society, transforming them into productive and impactful individuals.
This visit came in line with the humanitarian work of the “Human Brotherhood” Foundation, as well as Ahl Misr Burn Hospital’s commitment to enhancing co-operation with local and international community organisations to intensify efforts in treating patients.
Ahl Misr Burn Hospital, the largest and first of its kind in Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa, has successfully treated over 5,000 burn patients since its opening last March. It has also treated around 1,613 emergency cases and 157 patients in adult and pediatric intensive care units.
The hospital also provides psychological rehabilitation services to patients following surgeries to help them reintegrate into society.
