EL ARISH- A total of 35 exhibitors of craftsmen from North Sinai governorate are participating in the “Turathna Exhibition for Handicrafts and Heritage” at Egypt International Exhibition Centre (EIEC) in New Cairo.
Held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the exhibition, which kicked off on October 9, will run until October 15.
The exhibitors from North Sinai will display their high-quality and distinguished hand-made products, especially clothes, accessories, and food products, said an official at the branch of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) in North Sinai Tarek el-Shorbagy.
A host of facilities were provided to the exhibitors in coordination with North Sinai governorate, he added.
”Turathna Exhibition” is the biggest gathering that brings together artisans, innovators, artists and entrepreneurs from Egypt and many Arab countries.
It aims to share knowledge, exchange experience, display manufacturing techniques and explore additional marketing opportunities to support heritage industries and the handicrafts sector.
