SHARM EL-SHEIKH, Egypt- The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has approved three new member states; namely El Salvador, Solomon Islands and Tanzania, in a step that increases the number of its member states to 109.
The AIIB approved the applications of the three economies during its eighth annual meeting held in Sharm El-Sheikh.
The three countries will officially join the AIIB once they complete the required domestic processes and deposit the first capital installment with the bank.
